Enaip provides a wide range of educational, training and research projects in Italy and several European and non-European countries. Enaip's operations and activities aim at improving human resources, in order to promote job opportunities, promoting the social integration of weaker and disadvantaged groups, and improving the quality of training activities. One of Enaip's principal objectives, both in Italy and abroad, is the training, education and social integration of disadvantaged people.
ACLI first established itself in the UK in 1974, in response to the needs of Italian immigrants. Enaip's first British branch, which opened in 1974 provided:
Courses were held in locations in and around London, Bedford, Kettering, Corby, Nottingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Cardiff, Manchester, Bradford, Birmingham, etc. and were aimed at Italian immigrants in the UK.

In fact, over the last ten years, Enaip has organised study programmes in the UK. Each programme lasts typically two-three weeks and includes language tuition, visits to relevant companies and organisations, workshops, and/or work placements.
Moreover, many work exchanges between Italy, the UK, and other countries, have been organised. These projects were conducted in many different areas, also involving disabled people and people with learning difficulties.
In the field of vocational training, Enaip has run many courses in the last ten years, enabling thousands of Italian students to achieve a specialist qualification towards better employment. These courses were funded by the Italian Government and the European Social Fund.
